Jonathan Rice is a litigation trial lawyer in both New York State and federal courts, with a concentration in complex tort-catastrophic injury cases. These cases include medical malpractice, product liability, and construction accidents. Mr. Rice has expertise in the areas of mixed tort and commercial litigation with an emphasis on construction and corporate reorganization; equitable remedies; business dissolution; and services related to individuals and small-to-medium businesses.

Mr. Rice has extensive knowledge, and practice, in the areas of medical injuries including ortho, neuropsychological, and cognitive injuries. He has won a number of multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Jonathan Rice has practiced law in New York and Florida since 1985. He joined the firm of Grant and Longworth LLP in November 2007, following 20 years in private practice in New York City.

Mr. Rice is a 1980 graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, where he earned a B.A. in History and International Studies. He won his law degree at American University’s Washington College of Law in 1984. In addition, he is an alumnus of the Institute of European Studies at the London School of Economics.

Mr. Rice is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.
